Most of us work. As an Employee Assistance Provider (EAP), I often do work-related confidential counseling. I find the number one concern expressed by clients is dealing with other people. It might be the passive-aggressive coworker, the snarky colleague, the micromanaging supervisor or an incompetent, unappreciative boss. Then there is the oh so subtle sexual harasser flying just under the radar, or the co-worker who manages to stick you with all the work while they take the credit. It’s frustrating. While quitting is an option, there are always going to be other people challenges and we may as well figure out what they are and how to deal with them.
