Friendship Solutions Checklist

If you are uncertain about what to do in a questionable social relationship or friendship, use a checklist and ask yourself the following questions:

Like – In this friendship, can I feel liked without feeling taken advantage of
Respect – In this friendship, is it important that I feel respected? What would that look like for me?
Do Nothing – Would it be best, in this situation, to do nothing and see if things change?
Communicate – Should I communicate? In writing or in person? What is the outcome I am hoping for?
Leave – Is it time to break from this friendship? Or would it be enough to reduce or minimize contact?
