Visualize Circles to Assess Work Relationships

The stronger your inner circle, the more opportunities will be presented to you. –Ryan Malinowski

At this point it is time to decide is this a one, two or three circle job or career. If less than three, decide what is workable and what you are willing to put up with. Maybe you have an easy commute, or they are generous when you need time off to take care of a sick child. Maybe you feel emotionally valued, but grossly underpaid. Give it two-circles. Or you are being paid an extraordinary amount but have been relocated to someplace you find miserable. Or you and your boss do not speak the same language – literally or figuratively. It may be a one circle situation. You decide if you can manage it – at least for the short term. Visualizing the limitations via circles is another way to come to terms with a situation.
